Forgiveness

I was listening to the radio and a young girl was making a dedication on air. She openly mentioned how she hated this other girl in class. Such is our modern society where people aren't afraid to show their emotions, be it love or hate. In a way, I guess it's being frank; being able not to hide behind some mask or facade, and make known what you truly feel inside. Yet some will feel it's not being diplomatic or being considerate of other people's feelings.

However, not forgetting we are all humans with emotions and are not devoid of love and hate. And sometimes it's quicker to hate than to forgive, though it probably takes more effort to hate than to forgive. Perhaps it all depends on the occasion and situation we are in. What do you think?
