Many people were looking forward to the long weekend consisting of the Good Friday holiday and some have taken the opportunity to go for a short trip.
The recent days or rather weeks have been quite hectic for me and I have been really bogged down by work. In fact, I had to work during this supposedly long weekend. Apparently my department has been rather short-handed and I was asked by my boss to handle my colleagues' issues over this weekend as the issues have reached overwhelming status, in return for off in-lieu.
So I followed up on the issues closely on Friday and even late into Saturday night but was pleasantly greeted with good news this morning that the issues were finally resolved. It's time to take a well deserved break.
