So What's Up?

Expectations are like parasites that feed on beautiful hopes and dreams. Underlying in every hope and dream is a certain amount of expectation but reality rarely turns out the way and if we don't manage our expectations, they will destroy all progress that we have made so far.

It is okay to dream of a nice career or even a wonderful partner but it can be disastrous if we begin to impose our will by expecting things to go according to our plans and wishes. No one and no thing is perfect in this world, not even you or I, and we will be left with nothing but misery when we expect. So we just have to take things in life with a pinch of salt, especially when things don't go our way.

On a lighter note, I decided to show my support here for local talents. The lyrics of the song below are rather meaningful and somewhat sincere. Without further adieu, the song entitled Ransom Letter by local group, Pug Jelly:

So you stole my heart
And left me a ransom letter
Demanding I treat you better
Should I ever want it back and
Now I'm all alone
Dreams are all forgotten
Memories all turned rotten
It's not the same on the phone

*Chorus
So what's up girl?
Things haven't changed a bit since we last met
I bet my bottom dollar you're the best girl that I ever had
I never wanna lose you
So what's up?

I can't let you walk away
We planned to live forever
In each others arms
So......
Please hold on
You know no one will love you like i do
And that's the thing you know it too

*Chorus

I hear our song; it keeps playing on the radio
You're on my mind, I can't let you go
I'm all alone and I just want you to hold
Please take my hand. never let me go
I hear our song it keeps playing on the radio
You're on my mind, I can't let you go
Please make your mind up, don't see what the future holds

*Chorus
