Exploiting Generosity?

It was reported in a news article from The New Paper that Generous Singaporeans are being exploited and Nee Soon GRC Member of Parliament (MP) Lee Bee Wah will not hesitate to take action when she sees foreigners who come to here to beg illegally. These foreigners who are usually on social visit pass and do not have a letter of endorsement to busk, are exploiting kind-hearted nature of Singaporeans by pretending to be handicapped or blind. It is likely these phonies are part of a syndicate that are out to cheat both the feelings and money of many unsuspecting Singaporeans who have no way to determine if they are genuine or fake at first glance. Indeed these fakes need to be apprehended or in the long run, Singaporeans will become skeptical of being charitable.
