Last night, after a hard day's of work, I switched on the television to relax my mind. Channel 8 was showing a drama series about a kind hearted guy who was frequently being misunderstood for being the bad guy of the village because he was always getting into trouble.
So once he was being chased by fellow villagers for accidentally causing a shop to collapse. He ran to the edge of the village where he bumped into a village girl who lived there. The girl seldom mixed with the rest of the villagers, so when she saw the guy's flustered face, she asked if she could help, not aware of his background.
Naturally the guy was quite taken aback by her kind hospitality but decided to confess to her that he was one of the bad guys whom she had probably heard about from the other villagers. The girl seemed undisturbed by his comments and told him she believed that he was a kind soul.
Just then, the girl's elder sister came out and somewhat recognised the guy. She immediately warned her younger sister of his notoriety but the girl still maintained her stand that he was good and they should help him. The elder sister was curious and asked how she could see that he was good, as looks can be deceiving. However she told him that she did not use her eyes to see but could feel with her heart that he was genuinely kind.
The girl's attitude is indeed admirable because she was not like the other villagers who were prejudiced against the guy. Their bias against him made it hard for them to see the good in him.
