If you use the Facebook, you would find that on the Wall of your profile page, you would asked to share, "What's on your mind?". After reflecting, I realised there's actually quite a lot going around in our minds these days. Modern living is cluttered with new things popping up every day and no wonder it is common to hear of information overload. Mental stress is generally high as people have much on their minds from work, family, studies, bills and the list just goes on.
It's just a thought but I wonder what will happen when one day we grow old and literally lose our minds. What if you began to forget people and places that were once close and dear? As taken from Wikipedia,
"Alzheimer's disease (AD)—also called Alzheimer disease, senile dementia of the Alzheimer type (SDAT), primary degenerative dementia of the Alzheimer's type (PDDAT), or Alzheimer's—is the most common form of dementia. This incurable, degenerative, and terminal disease was first described by German psychiatrist and neuropathologist Alois Alzheimer in 1906 and was named after him. Most often, it is diagnosed in people over 65 years of age, although the less-prevalent early-onset Alzheimer's can occur much earlier. In 2006, there were 26.6 million sufferers worldwide. Alzheimer's is predicted to affect 1 in 85 people globally by 2050."
