Science vs Religion

A Foreword
One of my strange habits is to sit and stare blankly at life around me. It could be at a cafe or even a library, and as if in a daze, I would silently observe all that is going around me - people going about their daily lives. I notice how everyone is so unique in their own way. Simply no two individuals are the same; which leads to me to wonder if humans are bodies of flesh with a soul or simply just a living organism with a highly developed brain that's all?

If you believe in Creation, regardless of what faith or religion you belong to, then most likely you believe that humans are more than just skin and bones. The physical bodies that we possess are no more than vessels in which our souls or spirits reside. And it is the soul that makes each of us unique and respond to a Higher Being.

However, if you are an atheist, then probably you would reason along the logic of science. From the medical knowledge we know today, it is the brain from which the process of thought comes from. It is the brain that receives signals from the senses, translates them into experiences, stores them in memory, makes decisions and generates responses. Yet at our current level of technology, much of the brain and how it works exactly still puzzles us.

So life still continues to amaze me and from what I see, there is probably something more than meets the eye.
