I stumbled upon the best blog disclaimer I have seen so far:
Welcome to my blog!
If you don't like my blog , click here.
Respect my blog.
This follows an interesting debate, The Arena 2, that I had watched on Channel 5. The team from Madrasah Al-Maarif Al-Islamiah faced the team from Singapore American School for the motion, "Is the Internet harmful to the youth?"
Though many times I found the teams not focusing on the topic at hand, it was still enlightening to see how the youths viewed the concept of the Internet. It is true that many people are offended by the freedom that the Internet brings by being somewhat like a virtual world. Yet many do not realise that the Internet was precisely created for this purpose.
Blogs which are part of this world are channels for individuals to express their thoughts and share their views with like-minded as well as non-like-minded individuals. You don't have to agree with their views, and you don't have to read it if you don't want to. Just do what the disclaimer says.
