A lot of people just think that it's always someone else's responsibility to do something. When it comes to national politics, many citizens like to complain and feel that the government should be doing something about those matters. When it comes down to work politics, many are working in a self-preservation manner and tend to set strict boundaries where scope of work is concerned. There are even those who like to shift their work responsibility to others, so much so that in many organisations, employees tend to spend more time blaming others and arguing about who's supposed to do what than doing the actual work itself.
Yet strangely enough, with so many people not bothered about others, the world still seems goes on. It almost seems like the world depends on the minority of people who can truly be considered the difference makers. These are the people who live life with a big heart, thinking of others before themselves.
Let us pause and think: Shouldn't everyone play a part in this world that we are sharing? After all, we should be all be equally responsible for our common existence. Take for a example, if everyone played a part in recycling, we would have an effective way of managing the waste in this world.
Yet sometimes when we look at this world and scratch our heads in puzzlement: Why do we spend more time making life difficult for others, instead of working together towards a better tomorrow? Below is a real nice MTV from Nickelback, hope it will be of inspiration to you. We can change this world --- if we are bothered to in the first place.
Nickelback - If Everyone Cared
From underneath the trees, we watch the sky
Confusing stars for satellites
I never dreamed that you'd be mine
But here we are, we're here tonight
Singing Amen, I'm alive
Singing Amen, I'm alive
[CHORUS]
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
We'd see the day when nobody died
And I'm singing
Amen I, I'm alive
Amen I, I'm alive
And in the air the fireflies
Our only light in paradise
We'll show the world they were wrong
And teach them all to sing along
Singing Amen, I'm alive
Singing Amen, I'm alive
[CHORUS X2]
And as we lie beneath the stars
We realize how small we are
If they could love like you and me
Imagine what the world could be
[CHORUS]
We'd see the day, we'd see the day
When nobody died
