I have never considered myself a smart person, though frequently people do ask me for advice. I have never performed really well in school and usually just make it through.
So how we do we define genius? Thomas Edison suggests that genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. Take it from a man who, working independently, experimented with thousands of filament materials and expended tremendous amounts of effort before producing the first commercially viable light bulb. Yet you still need that one percent of inspiration. If you asked me how to get that inspiration, I really don't know. A truly wise man, to me, never plays leapfrog with a unicorn.
Intelligence is relative. From the words of the master of relativity, Albert Einstein: When you sit with a nice girl for two hours, it seems like two minutes. When you sit on a hot stove for two minutes, it seems like two hours that's relativity.
Since this topic was sparked off by someone asking me a technical question, I decided to end off with some thermodynamics knowledge to ponder:
It doesn't matter what temperature the room is, it's always room temperature.
